Kazimierz Piotr Staszewski (born 12 March 1963 in Warsaw) a son of the architect and poet Stanisław Staszewski, he is a Polish lead singer, songwriter, and leader of the band ''Kult''.〔Alexander Stephan, "The Americanization of Europe: Culture, Diplomacy, and Anti-Americanism After 1945", Berghahn Books, 2007, pg. 231, ()〕 Kazik founded ''Kult'' in 1982; their latest album, ''Prosto'', was released in May 2013.〔Dziennik, ""Hurra"! Kult sprzedaje się najlepiej" ("Hurra"! The Kult is a bestseller), 13 October 2009, ()〕 In 1991, he launched a solo career as ''Kazik'' with one of the first Polish rap albums ''Spalam się''.
